WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – A jury has found former correctional officer, Timothy Levesque, not guilty in his manslaughter trail.
Levesque shot and killed 23-year-old Melissa White outside the Happy Clam Restaurant in Swansea in 2014.
Levesque claimed he shot her in self defense because she came at him with a crow bar.
The trial lasted a week, and the jury found Levesque not guilty Tuesday.
