Former state representative Ray Sullivan dies at 44

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The family of former state representative Ray Sullivan announced Wednesday that he passed away at age 44.
The family says Sullivan died at his home in Providence.
“We respectfully request privacy at this difficult time,” the statement said.
Police confirmed to ABC6 that they went to Sullivan’s apartment for a wellbeing check after his family and friends said they had not been able to contact him. The building manager told police she had not seen Sullivan for about a week.
Police do not suspect foul play. His cause of death has not been determined.
