Money was raised for students in Central Falls this weekend in memory of their teacher.

24-year-old Dacia Pray was killed in a tragic car crash in 2006. She was a special needs teacher at Veterans Memorial School in Central Falls.

Sunday, her family and friends came together for a fashion show fundraiser at The Loft at a Mile and a Quarter in Providence.

The money raised will go to the Dacia Pray memorial Foundation, and hundreds of students in Central Falls will benefit from it.

“The money will be going to the Central Falls Elementary School system. It will be for after-school activities and field trips within their budget they don’t have. So in her memory we do this and I know she would be very happy knowing we are doing this for her,” said Jessica Lee Pray, Dacia‘s sister-in-law.

They hope to raise $5,000 from this event. You can donate by logging onto DaciaPrayMemorialFoundation.com.
