FOXBORO, M.A. (WLNE) — The mass vaccination site at Gillette Stadium is expected to administer its 65,878 dose of a coronavirus vaccine Tuesday afternoon.
The number is significant, as it’s the seating capacity inside the stadium.
The person who receives dose number 65,878 will receive 2 free tickets to the Patriots home opener in 2021 if fans are allowed back in the stands.
The site opened on January 18th and started by vaccinating roughly 300 first responders per day. It now has the capacity to vaccinate over 4,000 first responders and seniors per day.
