Free coronavirus testing sites available in Massachusetts communities

Gov Baker May 4th

WLNE – The launch of free Covid-19 testing sights began on Friday, and are available in eight Massachusetts communities.

The sites will be available from July 10-August 14.

The state launched the testing program in communities that continued to see a higher number of residents returning positive COVID-19 tests.

The program is aimed to support the testing of asymptomatic individuals in these communities to prevent further spread of the illness.

Massachusetts urges residents of these communities to get tested for COVID-19:

  • Chelsea
  • Everett
  • Fall River
  • Lawrence
  • Lowell
  • Lynn
  • Marlborough
  • New Bedford

The free testing is available to all residents and results will be returned confidentially.

Times and locations of available testing sites can be found here.
