Freeze warning tonight; tracking weekend rain

Despite the full sunshine, it was a much cooler day across the area – 10 to 25 degrees so!

A FREEZE WARNING is in effect for much of Southern New England tonight, as temperatures fall into the 30s.

Make sure to bring sensitive plants inside tonight – and of COURSE make sure outdoor pets come in as well.

Thursday and Friday both look nice with sunshine and comfortable temperatures.

Rain moves in on Saturday, with the exact timing still uncertain – especially for the heaviest of the rain.

We could pick up close to an inch of much needed rain in spots before clearing out Sunday afternoon.
