Frontier Airlines to serve Cancún, Mexico flights at PVD

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport has announced that Frontier Airlines will hold a non-stop service to Cancún, Mexico and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Starting February 19, Frontier Airlines will offer weekly service between PVD and Cancún, Mexico (CUN) marking the first regularly scheduled international service at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport since before the COVID-19 Pandemic. Saturday departures and arrivals provide opportunities for flight times less than five hours.

Starting February 17, Frontier will also be offering non-stop service from PVD to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) three times a week, with frequency scheduled to increase to four times weekly by April 27. The U.S. Department of Transportation, Health, and Human Services and other federal agencies have made a program to give an overview of what to expect at airports and on aircraft.
