Funeral arrangements set for teen killed by dogs in Dighton

DIGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) – Funeral arrangements have been announced for the 14-year-old boy who was mauled to death by a pack of dogs in Dighton.

Ryan Hazel was taking care of the dogs on Thursday May 9th while the owner was out of town, when the dogs attacked, killing the Rehoboth teen.

Hazel’s celebration of life will be held Saturday at His Providence Church in Swansea.

Visiting hours will be held before the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Everyone in attendance is asked to wear green, Hazel’s favorite color.
