Funeral to be held Thursday for Massachusetts boy who lost his battle with Cancer

MARSHFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) – Hundreds of people lined the streets of Marshfield last night honoring an eight year old boy who died of cancer over the weekend.

Danny Sheehan had a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer which he fought for four and a half years.

During that time, he was named an honorary police officer in Marshfield and got to meet his favorite actor, Aquaman’s Jason Momoa.

Momoa says he will dedicate the Aquaman sequel to Danny.

Danny’s funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Chrtistine’s church in Marshfield.

His family is asking attendees to dress in colorful attire for that service to honor him.
