Gas prices in Providence up $1.32 the last year

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence gas prices remained unchanged this past week, averaging $3.40 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 200 stations in Providence.

The average is 1.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stands $1.32 per gallon higher than a year ago.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest price in the city is $3.18 and the most expensive is $3.69 per gallon.

The cheapest price in the Ocean State is $3.08 per gallon, while the most expensive is $3.69 per gallon.
