We Love New England: Gaspee Days Parade set to return to Warwick this weekend

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The 57th annual Gaspee Days Parade is set to be held on Saturday.

This year’s celebration marks the 250th anniversary of the burning of the Gaspee in 1772.

The parade will kick off at 10 a.m., running down Narragansett Parkway in Warwick.

Other Gaspee Days events include the 5k foot race, being held at 9:30 a.m. and the burning of the Gaspee, being held at 4 p.m.
