Providence hosts annual Ghouls and Goblins Extravaganza
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Hundreds of ghouls and goblins showed up Saturday in downtown Providence as the West Broadway Neighborhood Association and Haus of Codec partnered to put on the Annual Ghouls and Goblins Extravaganza in Dexter Park.
The event kicked off at noon along the pedestrian bridge and ran until six p.m. There was live music and more than fifty local artists, community organizations and food vendors.
The day also featured family-friendly Trick-or-Treating at “Spooky Boooths”.
The day for adults too. There was a beer garden and costume contest for adults. Kids and pets also competed for best Halloween costume, and they were able to participate in a costume parade and create Halloween crafts.
