Gillette Stadium opens as mass vaccination site

FOXBORO, MASS (WLNE) – The Bay State’s first large-scale vaccination site is set to open on Monday.
The vaccinations will be taking place at Gillette Stadium, and serve first responders from all over Massachusetts.
The new site had a soft opening last week, giving the vaccine to first responders in attendance.
Governor of Massachusetts, Charlie Baker, says the site is looking to start with 300 vaccinations a day.
Eventually, the site will look to move up to 5,000 doses a day.
Gillete is the third NFL stadium to be used as a vaccination site.
