Gillette Stadium to celebrate 20th anniversary on Wednesday

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Gillette Stadium will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on Tuesday.

Gillette hosted it’s first event, a 2-0 win by the New England Revolution, on May 11, 2002.

A group of Gillette Stadium stakeholders, headlined by Robert Kraft, will host a groundbreaking ceremony at 2 p.m. for a new addition to the north end of the stadium.
