GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE) — The Glocester Police Department identified the man that crashed a stolen car last Wednesday.

Police said the suspect is a 30-year-old male from New Hampshire who stole a car, crashed it and then fled on foot into the woods after being stopped by police on Putnam Pike.

He was later arrested in Rowley, Massachusetts for breaking and entering.

The suspect is alleged to have stolen the car he crashed from Cambridge.

During their investigation, Glocester police said they obtained home security footage that showed the suspect breaking into multiple homes on Old Snake Hill Road and stealing an ATV.

They added that the suspect was arrested in Rowley after breaking into a home and fleeing on the same ATV. He is currently being held as a violator, and Glocester police are seeking a warrant to charge him with multiple charges.
