Gloomy weather after a gem
Tuesday was far and away the pick of the week across Southern New England. Providence saw it’s first 70 degree day of the year.
Unfortunately, the warm weather will not last into Wednesday. Expect cloudy skies tonight with showers passing by and an onshore flow developing.
Highs on Wednesday won’t get out of the 40s. Most of the day will be dry with some damp moments. Showers are most likely towards the later afternoon and evening.
On Thursday, winds will shift to the southwest and temperatures will shoot back well into the 60s. Any breaks of sun could help us get back to 70, but could also fuel some thunderstorms that will be passing through as a cold front approaches from the west.
Skies begin to clear out as the front passes Thursday night and we are looking at a dry and mainly sunny Easter weekend with seasonable temperatures in the 50s.
