Gloomy start to the day

Overnight we had the heavy thunderstorms and downpours pass through and finally lifted off after 7am. For the rest of the day we will have some scatter showers and a few isolate thunderstorms. If the sun comes out that will destabilize the atmosphere and help aid in the thunderstorm development.

Tomorrow will be a lot like today. Some passing, scattered showers with thunderstorm development in the afternoon- especially out west. That will march across our area later in the afternoon.

We are stuck in this pattern for most of the week. Saturday is looking mostly dry for now.
