McKee joins Department of Education to launch mental health awareness campaign for students
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Gov. Dan McKee and the Rhode Island Department of Education will launch on Thursday a mental health awareness campaign for students.
The “Let It Out” initiative is aimed at connecting students with school members and mental health services state-wide.
The initiative will be rolled out at Nathanael Greene Elementary School in Pawtucket.
McKee will be joined by community leaders at 10:30 a.m., including RIDE Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green.
