PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Governor McKee is set to sign two LGBTQ+ bills into law on Wednesday morning.

The first bill on the agenda will make single-user restrooms in public places non-gender specific.

The second bill updates the definition of “sexual orientation” in regard to fair housing practices.

This would eliminate an exemption that allowed discrimination based on gender identity or expression in owner-occupied buildings of three units or less.
