Grand jury indicts Providence man on drug charges

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office said Wednesday a grand jury indicted a Providence man last week on drug charges.

Attorney General Peter Neronha said Robert Castillo was charged Thursday with possessing cocaine with an intent to distribute.

The alleged crime happened back on March 9, said Neronha.

Castillo, who’s 42 years old, is expected to be face a Providence Superior Court judge on June 22.
