Bautista, Lind homer as Blue Jays beat Yankees

      DUNEDIN, Fla. (AP) – Home run champion Jose Bautista connected
for the first time this spring and Adam Lind also homered to lead
the Toronto Blue Jays past a New York Yankees split squad 10-3
Friday.
      Bautista had a sacrifice fly in the first inning and a solo
homer in the third. He led the majors with 54 home runs last
season.
      Travis Snider had three of Toronto's 17 hits. The Blue Jays
roughed up relief pitcher David Phelps for three runs in the
fourth, capped by Lind's homer.
      Curtis Granderson hit his third spring home run for the Yankees.
      Ivan Nova, a candidate for a spot in the Yankees' starting
rotation, went three innings, allowing two runs and five hits.
Toronto starter Kyle Drabek gave up one earned run in four innings.
