Gun Exchange Held in Fall River, New Bedford

There are less guns on the streets of Southern New England, thanks to a regional gun safety exchange.

There were long lines at several locations throughout Fall River, and New Bedford Saturday, where people were able to turn in firearms and ammunition. The mayors of both cities, as well as the Bristol County District Attorney say events like this are important to the communities.

Those who turned in their guns were given gift certificates to Dominoes Pizza, and Shaw's.
