Harley-Davidson recalling thousands of motorcycles

By News Staff

Harley-Davidson is recalling nearly 130,000 motorcycles.

The company says the hydraulic clutch may not disengage on some of their bikes which increases the risk of a crash.

For the clutch issue, Harley-Davidson says dealers will rebuild affected clutch master cylinders for free.

The recall applies to all 2014 touring bikes, including the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the CVO Road King.

So far 19 accidents have been reported but the injuries were minor.

In addition, 1,400 street bikes have also been recalled due to a possible fuel tank leak. No injuries or accidents have been reported tied to that problem.
