PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ The Rhode Island Department of Health says water quality at Fort Adams State Park and King Park beaches in Newport is now safe for swimming.
The health department said Sunday morning that tests show that bacteria levels are within acceptable limits.
The state regularly monitors water quality at beaches throughout the summer months to ensure safe conditions for swimmers.
