Heat Continues Monday, Chance of Storms

A *Heat Advisory* remains in place away from the coast through Monday.  Air temperatures away from the coast will be in the low to mid 90s, with heat index values between 98 to 103.

Also, an *Air Quality Alert* will be in place for Washington (South) County and Newport County on Monday.  Ozone levels may be high enough to cause problems for people with breathing issues.

Sunday Night: Warm and muggy with patchy fog.

Monday: It’s hot and humid again with temperatures away from the coast in the lower 90s and a heat index between 98 and 103.  Chance of scattered storms in the afternoon, some could be strong to severe.

Tuesday: Sunshine with more pleasant conditions and lower humidity.

Wednesday-Thursday: Humid with a chance of thunderstorms.

Friday-Saturday: Sunny and less humid.

Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds, warm.
