Heavy rain threat into Friday, flood watch for parts of the area

We are currently tracking a line of severe weather from Montreal down through Vermont and New York that will move through New England tonight, possibly impacting northern portions of our viewing area. Storms could contain gusty winds and hail but will above all contain torrential rain.

This threat continues into Friday, and so a FLOOD WATCH is up for much of the area. Downpours will be intermittent but plentiful on Friday. Keep your eyes to the sky!

The weekend won’t be all that great, but best chance for dry time is Saturday as any showers/storms will be isolated and likelier inland. Showers will be more numerous Sunday.

Have a great night, and be weather aware – make sure to check us out tonight at 11 and throughout the day Friday for all the latest!
