Hells Angels member arraigned on firearm, drug charges

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A North Providence man with connections to a national outlaw motorcycle gang has been ordered held without bail after going before a federal judge Friday.

Douglas Leedham, a “full-patch”, or fully initiated member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club is facing a slew of charges after FBI agents searched his apartment Thursday.

Federal agents seized 44 grams of methamphetamine, 19 grams of cocaine, and a collection of handguns, knives, hatchets and batons from his condo at the Geneva Mills apartment complex on Douglas Avenue in North Providence.

He’s charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Methamphetamine, Possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, and three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Leedham was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Providence Friday afternoon. He was ordered held without bail.
