Here Come the Clouds for Tuesday

Our weather pattern is about to take an unsettled turn. We have a cold front moving in from the Great Lakes, but before it arrives Wednesday, it will usher in an area of rain from the Carolinas. The rain arrives Tuesday for the late commute. and continues overnight into Wednesday. When the cold front comes through Wednesday night, it will also bring a chance of thunderstorms. Thursday is shaping up to be a pleasant one with sunshine and above-average temperatures. Friday will be bright but cooler with highs in the 40s. The weekend forecast is still coming together. An area of low pressure could come through the area, and with temperatures near or below freezing pre-dawn Saturday, it could bring frozen or mixed precipitation. Right now, we are watching it closely an waiting for confidence to improve.
