“Hocus Pocus 2” continues filming in Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ continued filming in Federal Hill tonight, shutting down a small portion of Atwell’s Avenue.

Filming has been taking place at various locations the city, including the Cranston Street Armory, a historic building in the Broadway–Armory Historic District in the city.

Smoke draped the streets, as the Sanderson sisters were ready to take flight– with a little help from a crane hung high above Federal Hill.
Crew members say they expect to continue filming in Federal Hill until Sunday.

Trucks filled with equipment are lined along Atwells Avenue and a crane set up in the Walgreens parking lot nearby.

Shopping and carnival booths for the movie can can be seen set up on Atwells Ave as well, between Acorn Street and Sutton Street.
