PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A union vote of Hollywood movie workers could have a serious impact on the filming of “Hocus Pocus 2” in Rhode Island.

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees held a vote over the weekend that could allow union leaders to organize a strike, according to the IATSE website.

The construction of the film’s set in Lincoln is under IATSE contract, according to the Providence Journal.

According to the website, some of the issues that union leaders are looking to solve are:

  • Excessively unsafe and harmful working hours
  • Low wages
  • Inadequate break time

The results of the union vote are expected to be released on Monday.

This is a developing story, more details will be added as they become available.
