Homeless man arrested on rape warrant in Dartmouth


NEW BEDFORD, R.I (WLNE) – Members of the Dartmouth Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Violent Apprehension Section, arrested a homeless man on a rape charge on Wednesday.

According to police, 25-year-old Justin Camara, was arrested on a warrant associated with the charge that occurred on New Year’s Eve,

“Our commitment to both the victim and the members of this community was unwavering when it came to swiftly bringing this violent criminal to justice”, said Chief Brian Levesque

Camara was transported to New Bedford District Court to be arraigned.
