Hooters in Warwick to reopen this year
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – The Hooters restaurant location in Warwick will be reopening within the next 10 weeks, according to Dr. Brad Turchetta, the landlord of the property on Airport Road.
Turchetta says the the franchise owners have pulled permits from the City of Warwick to begin work on the building to get it ready to open.
An ABC6 crew observed workers going in and out of the building on Monday.
The Hooters parent company sued the owner of the Warwick location back in 2016 after it claimed they had abandoned the building, and the building’s conditions were ‘beyond disgusting’ thus damaging the national brand.
The restaurant closed in 2014 because of damage suffered from a snowstorm.
