Hopkinton police arrest D.U.I. suspect responsible death of 88-year-old woman

HOPKINTON, R.I. (WLNE)- The Hopkinton Police Department arrested the D.U.I. suspect on Wednesday morning, who was responsible for the death of an 88-year-old woman on Halloween.
Police said that they arrested 34-year-old Keith Brown, of Fall River, at around 9 a.m. at the Quality Inn in Seekonk.
Brown had been staying alone in the motel for weeks, according to police.
Investigators said that Brown was involved in a crash on Spring Street while driving under the influence on October 31, 2021.
The crash head-on, and left 88-year-old Elisabeth Taylor dead, and sent her daughter, 57-year-old Alexandrea Martino to Rhode Island Hospital.
Brown faces the following charges:
- Driving under the influence, death resulting
- Driving as to endanger, death resulting
- Driving as to endanger, resulting in serious bodily injury.
