Horseneck Beach closed due to rip currents

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation says the storm has produced higher surf and rip currents at the facility, which are dangerous for swimmers.
However, the beach and other facilities will remain open.
The DCR will continue to monitor the water to determine if it is safe for patrons Thursday.
