Hot weather eases; decent weekend ahead

Hello summer! We’ve been missing you.

Okay okay, it’s still only early July, but after a cool month of June, some of us were starting to think it might never come.

Highs hit the upper 80s and low 90s Thursday – for some, the warmest days since April 13th and 14th!

The humidity really made it uncomfortable at times; at one point, T.F. Green had a heat index of 99.

It won’t be as sultry on Friday, as we deal with low clouds and fog through late morning. The sun will bust out in the afternoon, and it will still be well into the 80s.

The weekend isn’t bad, sun and clouds and a PM shower each day, but mostly dry.

Better chance of rain comes in on Monday.
