Hundreds walk for MS in Narragansett and Providence

Hundreds are expected at two walks in Rhode
Island Sunday to raise money for those living with
multiple sclerosis.

The annual Walk MS kicks off Sunday morning to help Rhode Islanders with the
disease and fund research to find a cure.

ABC6 News Anchor Karen Meyers will be emceeing the walk that kicks off from
the Rhode Island Convention
Center in Providence
at 10:00 a.m. That 3-mile course winds through downtown.

Other walkers will be departing from Narragansett Pier
School at 10:00 a.m., and
can choose from a 3 or 6.2-mile walk along the seawall.

This event is the Rhode Island Chapter's annual fundraiser. On May 3, Walk
MS in Rhode Island will continue with a
6.2-mile course through Colt State Park in Bristol.
