“Irish Whisper” Movie Creates Local Jobs

Hollywood has come to southern New England once again. That means work for local talent. Filming of the crime drama, “Irish Whisper,” wrapped up in Massachusetts last week. The entire movie was shot over the course of nine days. It provided work for crew members and actors from Massachusetts and Rhode Island who gathered for a cast party. They call it another sign that more TV and movie projects are coming to the area, which translates to local jobs.

“I play an Irish underboss, which is a great and exciting challenge for me, because I played a cop in 'Body of Proof.' Now, as a crime guy, as well as an underboss, people say, 'How do you do both?' I say I play a good cop, but I play a great bad guy,” said Billy Vigeant, an actor in the movie.

“Irish Whisper” is now going into editing. It could take four to six months before the movie is done and ready for release.
