‘It was a difficult and long thought decision’: North Providence restaurant suddenly shuts down
NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — “There have been just too many obstacles to overcome,” wrote the owners of a North Providence restaurant that suddenly shut down after being in business for over four years.
Howie’s, a family-owned business, thanked its customers for their support.
“We are truly thankful to you for you being our friends, our family,” wrote the owners. “It was a difficult and long thought decision, but one we feel is best for all of us here.”
The owners said Howie’s was a “truly special place [that was] founded on family [and] focused on fresh.”
“We are thankful for all the opportunities we were given and the memories will be cherished forever,” they wrote.
