JetBlue temporarily suspending flights at T.F. Green

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – JetBlue is temporarily suspending flights T.F. Green International Airport due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to T.F. Green’s website, JetBlue serviced flights from Rhode Island to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

The suspension in travel will be effective April 15 until June 10.

In addition, consolidation of service will be implemented at Boston Logan International Airport along with four other major airport hubs, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

Customers whose flights have been canceled will be notified via email by the airline’s customer support team for re-booking options or the customers choice of a refund or JetBlue credit for future travel.

“The revised schedules are aimed at reducing excess flying during a time of unprecedented low demand for air travel while maintaining a critical level of service across the airline’s network for those who absolutely must fly,” the company said in a news release.

In a previous announcement the airline stated that they have reduced their flying network-wide by 80 percent per day in April.
