Jordan’s Furniture temporarily closes all locations

This in the wake of the spread of COVID-19

TAUNTON, MASS (WLNE) –  Starting on Wednesday, all the Jordan’s Furniture stores will temporarily close following growing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We decided to close all our stores starting tomorrow, in the best interest of our customers and our employees”, said Eliot Tatelman, President of Jordan’s Furniture.

“The safety and health of both our guests and our J-Team is paramount. In the past few weeks, we have taken all necessary steps and preventive measures to keep our stores clean and safe,” Tatelman said.

“However, it became apparent during the last few days that the right thing to do is to simply close all stores until we, as a community and as a country, have a better idea about coronavirus. These are unprecedented times that call for drastic actions to ensure the safety of everyone in our stores.”

According to the statement released bu Jordan’s Furniture, they will continue to monitor the ever-changing situation and follow the guidelines at the CDC and WHO, along with local and state governments.
