Kemba Walker Addresses Knee Injury That Will Keep Him Out Until At Least January

Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker says his left knee has responded well to a stem cell injection that is expected to keep him out until at least January. Walker told reporters during a teleconference from the team’s training camp that the shots “definitely calmed my knee down a lot.“ Walker says he wasn’t himself during the playoffs, when the Celtics reached the Eastern Conference finals. He says he won’t rush back to play until he is back at his best.
