Head Coach Ken Hopkins Becomes CCRI Baseball’s All-Time Wins Leader

 Baseball Coach Ken Hopkins becomes CCRI Baseball's all-time wins leader!

The CCRI Knights baseball team defeated the Tigers of Roxbury Community College 11-6 on Monday at Fell Field in Warwick.  The win improves the Knights' record to 10-5 on the season. In addition, makes Head Coach Ken Hopkins the All-Time Wins Leader with a 251-122-2 record.  He surpasses Harold “Whitey” Fell whom the CCRI field is named after. Fell had a 250-105 record.

Mike Farias (West Greenwich, RI) was on the mound to pick-up the win.  Offensively the Knights got the game securing runs in the bottom of the seventh inning with the score 8-6 Marc Dorsi (West Haven, CT) smacked a 3-run home run to put the Knights up by five runs 11-6.
