Lab at URI Narragansett Bay campus evacuates due to gas leak
People were forced to evacuate from a laboratory at the URI Naragansett Campus today around noon after a construction crew severed a gas line.
A back hoe caused a 4 inch hole in the gas line.
Fire crews were called in to shut off the gas to the building.
Business has resumed to normal.
