Lifespan to give update on military medical teams at Rhode Island Hospital

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Lifespan plans to give an update on support from military medical teams Wednesday, after members arrived to alleviate staffing crunches at Rhode Island Hospital last Saturday.

President of Rhode Island Hospital, Saul Weingart, will be joined by other medical officers to discuss critical staffing support during the latest COVID surge, as well as how these teams are assisting with operations.

The meeting will be held at 11:15a.m., at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
