Lincoln man arrested for B&E and assault in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — A Lincoln man was arrested in connection to a house break-in that occurred last week in Cumberland, according to police.
33-years-old Robert Piasecki of Lincoln was arrested for breaking into a house on Kent Street at approximately 8:45 a.m. Friday.
Police say Piasecki was arraigned Wednesday night at Cumberland Police Department before a bail commissioner and was held without bail and sent to the ACI in Cranston.
He is being charged with Breaking and Entering of a dwelling house and with assaulting the homeowner. Piasecki was formally arraigned in Providence District Court Thursday morning.
