Lincoln man faces DUI charges after crashing through fences at state police barracks

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — A man is facing DUI charges after he crashed his SUV through two fences at the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln barracks early Thursday morning.

Troopers said a black Audi SUV ended up on the front lawn just after 1:30 a.m.

The SUV was going north on Old Louisquisset Pike when it lost control and went off the road.

Police said it crashed through two fences surrounding the building before stopping on the lawn.

The driver, 46-year-old Clinton Bradshaw of Lincoln, faces multiple charges, including DUI and refusal to a chemical test.

He was held overnight pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
