It's the end of the line for the old Comet roller coaster at the former Lincoln Park in Dartmouth. The roller coaster which has been around since 1946, took people on its last ride in 1987 and has stood idle ever since. Now, all that's left are remnants. Today, the owners took the roller coaster down, clearing the way for apartment buildings and commercial development. The owners of the property say it will take about 45 days to totally clear the land. After that, all that will be left to remind people of Lincoln Park will be the memories they hold dear in their hearts.
