Lincoln Police ask residents to be alert after housebreaks

Police say there were two housebreaks in Lincoln on Thursday, making the total six within the last two weeks.

The first attempted break occurred in the area of Cobble Hill Road at around 10:15 a.m.

Police say he fled on foot.

He is described as a black male around 6’0” tall, wearing a grey sweatshirt and khaki pants.

The second housebreak occurred in the area of Sayles Hill Road at around 12:19 p.m. Police say a dark colored vehicle bearing possible MA plates was scene leaving the area with two white males inside.

Police believe these two incidents are unrelated but due to the recent number of housebreaks, are asking residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity they observe.
