Lincoln Police are
investigating after a home invasion on Old
River Road Friday afternoon.

The woman inside of the
home tells police that around noontime, a man rang her doorbell and asked about
a vehicle that was for sale. He then left, but came back a couple minutes later
and talked his way inside, forcing her into the kitchen and threatening
her with a knife.

At that time, two other
partially-masked males entered the home and went upstairs, then all three
suspects left and fled down River Rd.
in a silver Chevrolet minivan that was reported stolen out of Pawtucket on March 19. The van had the RI
license plate OU-888. It was reportedly last seen driving erratically on River Rd before
turning east onto Front St.

The first suspect was
described as light-skinned, in his 20's, with a medium build and about 5'8″-6'
tall.  He had shorter light brown hair,
facial chin hair, and a lime green construction vest.

An iPad and iPad mini were
taken from the home.

Police are working on leads at this time but do not
believe it was a random act. Anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln
Police at 401-333-1111.
