Lincoln Police look to ID robbery suspect

Lincoln Police are looking for the public’s help finding a man they say robbed a bank Monday afternoon.

Police received the call around 3:55 p.m. from the Bank of America on Smithfield Ave.

An employee stated a male walked in, pulled out a hand gun, and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot toward Pawtucket with an undetermined amount of money.

Police describe the suspect as lighter skinned male possibly white or Hispanic, believed to be in his mid to late 20s.

The suspect is approximately 5’6”-5’9” tall with a slender build. Police say he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray baggy sweatpants, blue athletic sneakers, a black mask, sunglasses, and dark gloves.

Police say the suspect also had a black nylon bag slung around his neck which he used to carry the black handgun.
